Day one - I created this blog as a journal of the last years of my life. When you hit 60 life becomes very precious and every day you awaken is a treasure. Had a wonderful one today with my sister, April. Gorgeous day, great company, great shopping (quilt store), and a nice lunch. Realized today I want my ashes spread all over a quilt shop.
I've been in a very creative place and am anticipating the arrival of a grandson (first grandchild) at Christmas time. What an amazing present he will be for us all. Daughter - Roxanne - has made it to her 7th month and we are holding our breath the pregnancy continues to progress normally.
Bought some fabric from WebFabric in Purceville for my Dear Jane quilt. I hope to post some pictures as I progress. Another learning experience coming up.
